The LAG Adige operates in “Polesine”, also defined “Land of the great rivers”, being delimited and crossed by the two most important rivers of Italy: Po and Adige. It is a flat land modelled in centuries by the slow flowing of rivers, characterised by historical cultural and architectural elements of particular interest as Roman centuriations, Venetian villas, abbeys and sanctuaries. In the territory promoted by the LAG, between Adige and Canal Bianco rivers, you can find several traces of the past and today it is still the most densely populated area of Rovigo province. Through centuries the country and the urban landscape, with their elements of environmental value, harmonically kept together with the rural historical architectural patrimony of the territory, succeeding in exalting until today their genuine simplicity and charm.
