Mission

The activity of LAG Polesine Adige, besides the valorisation of the territorial natural patrimony, is devoted to the valorisation of historical artistic and architectural aspects, typical characteristic of the territory along Adige river.
The Association aims to the promotion of integrated actions, elaborated and actuated within local active partnerships, and to the actuation of original strategies of integrated sustainable development of high quality, concerning the experimenting of new forms of valorisation of natural and cultural patrimony, of strengthening of economy, to help in the creation of jobs. The improvement of communities organisational capacity is also important.
Specifically the Association operates according to three strategies of intervention in the province of Rovigo:
- support to pilot strategies of rural development with territorial and integrated characteristics, based on a bottom up approach and on a horizontal partnership;
- support to interterritorial, transnational and transborder cooperation forms;
- availability to participate in the creation of nets among the rural territories of the European Community and among operators of rural development.
The strategy is based on the bottom up principle (Leader approach): projects and development lines are established through a bottom up method, in consultation with the bodies and/or associations, public and private, economic operators and the population living on the territory.
